Ciudad de México - 1972
Mi ámbito artístico se basa en una ambigüedad existencial, reflejada en la fluctuante relación entre la figuración y la abstracción en mis creaciones. Mi obra expresa la tensión entre las marcas gestuales y las estructuras, creando una experiencia visual dinámica. A través de mi arte, busco explorar las estructuras tangibles e intangibles que a menudo configuran la accesibilidad a recursos y oportunidades en diversas comunidades y economías. Los edificios recurrentes retratados en mis pinturas simbolizan el convencional "sueño americano". Sin embargo, las marcas gestuales abstractas sirven para romper y cuestionar estas nociones preconcebidas, desafiando el concepto de una "tierra prometida".
