Press release

3 Punts Galeria is pleased to present the new solo exhibition of sculptor Gerard Mas (Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Girona, 1976). In this exhibition we will see his latest works, approximately twenty, in different materials such as stone, alabaster, marble and wood. The artistic universe of Gerard Mas will be clear in this show, where we will see different animals like a Siamese cat, sheeps or dogs and his ironic Renaissance ladies. All the works of the artist are perfectly executed and the subtle irony that permeates his works is the key to its uniqueness. His influences come from the Renaissance as well as from Egyptian and Contemporary art, and it is partly this mix of elements belonging to different eras that challenges the viewer into entering a world where anything is possible.
